We’re pleased to say that we are running an open training session for new and existing players interested in playing in next season Cinderford Town Under 18 team. This will take place at 18:30 on the 9th of May.
The Under 18 side will be playing in the new Gloucestershire Floodlit Youth League, with matches midweek under the floodlights at the Causeway. The side will be coached by Rich Wilkins (UEFA B, FA Youth Award), Sid Martin (FA Level 2 & Level 2 Goalkeeper Coach) & Brian Burke (UEFA B).
We are also entered into the prestigious FA Youth Cup, with the opportunity to compete against professional academy sides from around the country.
The open training session will take place on Cinderford Town’s first team pitch and will include a training session with Cinderford Town first team manager Paul Michael, followed by an 11v11 match to view players in action. Players who impress will be asked to sign on the night and will not need to trial in June.
With over 30 players already registered for the trials, we’re keen to ensure that all players register with us in advance to give us an idea of numbers.
