Town secure kit deal with Macron

Cinderford Town and Cinderford Town Youth Football Club are both delighted to announce that they have agreed a joint 2 year deal with kit suppliers Macron sportswear for the supply of kit and training wear from the 2015/16 season.

As part of the agreement both the senior team and youth team will now have an online club shop setup for supporters and youth players with a huge new range of team wear as well as replica shirts. Stock will still be kept at the club shop as well, there is also the option of going into the Macron Store in Gloucester to order.

Cinderford Town Vice Chairman Stuart Tait had this to say on the deal….

“It is with great pleasure that CTFC can announce a partnership with Macron sportswear to supply the 1st Team kit and Training wear over the next two years. We will also be providing an online shop on our club website to allow all our supporters to purchase replica shirts, jackets, polo shirts and much more which will give you all the opportunity of helping our first team with funds. It’s another step forward for the Town. Hope you all enjoy the summer and I look forward to catching up with you all on the 10th July at the first preseason game vs Forest Select XI”

Rich Wilkins, head of youth football at the club, had this to say…

“This is a great deal which continues to build on the great relationship between the youth and the senior teams. Macron will be providing a huge range of training wear which will match that of the first team, it’s always great to see the youth players looking the same as the seniors. We have to say a huge thank you to a series of companies who will be sponsoring the youth teams next season and have allowed this deal to happen.”

In what is sure to be a popular move, the club will be returning to a black and white striped kit which will be matched throughout the youth teams.

Macron were keen to secure the club partnership, sales manager Jared Wilson said “We are delighted with securing the 2 year kit sponsorship with Cinderford Town FC & its Youth section. Cinderford were a local club that we have wanted to secure team wear supply for and we are pleased to now have the deal over the line.”

“We are keen to work with the club in growing its brand awareness of Cinderford Town FC and we think the introduction of our online store facility and the Macron Store locality will enable us both to grow from that aspect. I would like to thank Stuart for his correspondence with regards to the 1st team aspects & also Rich from the Cinderford youth section with the great relationship this club has, it’s made the process an enjoyable one. In a further sign of the club embracing the current youth setup, it has also been agreed that both the Under 16 and Under 14 teams will play their home games at the Causeway this season on a Sunday afternoon.
